I spent my 21st birthday in Paris -- it seems like
several lifetimes ago now -- and I've been back to
the city many times since then; most recently in
late September 2008, which is when this dopey
picture was taken. Through the years, I've seen
the Eiffel Tower in the distance countless times,
but never actually went over there until this last
trip. The occasion seemed to call for a memorable
photo, so I posed next to the real Eiffel Tower with
this miniature one.
