My label, Wild Oats Records
-- often called Nashville's Renegade Record Label
& The Home Of The
Three-Hour Lunch -- has been doing a monthly showcase
at the Commodore Grille on
West End Avenue for the past four years or so.
It's an opportunity for the
label's artists and friends to get together, try out
new material, do some socializing.
etc. On the occasion pictured above, my
good friend Joel Alan Lehman
and I were getting ready to head overseas to
Lithuania on a tour, and decided
to do a little warm-up/send-off gig at the
Commodore. (I'd recently finished
up producing an act from Georgia called
Buck & Duke, and they were
nice enough to give me a free t-shirt!)
