I've loved the blues since I was 15, which is also how old
I was when I started playing harmonica. It was my first
instrument, a couple of years before I began playing the
guitar. I still love playin' harp, and I still listen to a lot of
blues. And one of the great places to go if you love that
kind of music is Clarksdale, Mississippi. There's a whole
lot of blues history there, and it's the home of the Delta
Blues Museum. There's also a real nice blues club there:
"Ground Zero", co-owned by the actor Morgan Freeman.
I was there in March of 2008, and this photo was taken
the next morning at the club's front door.
