One of the best things about having the opportunity to travel around
the world playin' music has been to make some truly good friends, and
both of these guys fit into that category. Nils Tuxen, who is originally
from Denmark, is seated playing the dobro; Stefan Noelle, on guitar, is
from Munich. Stefan is actually a drummer and singer, Nils is a multi-
instrumentalist. I've known each of them for over a decade, and we've
played in many countries together. They're both really nice people, as
well as world-class musicians. This particular photo was taken when
I doing a gig in the Czech Republic. One of the musicians in the local
band that opened for us owned a music store, so we stopped by the
next day to say hello and jam a bit.
