This was taken in Dublin at the end of a particularly memorable
trip. I'd done a two-week tour over in Denmark and Germany,
finishing up with a gig in Berlin. I was joined there by the three
excellent fellows shown with me above: Bob Saporiti, a longtime
friend of mine who was the international promotion manager at
Warner Bros. Records at the time; Mike Wells, head of Serengeti
Records, who, alas, has since passed away; and Larry Evans. They
showed up at my gig in Berlin, and the next morning we set off
on a whirlwind five-day train-and-ferry trip that took us first to
Brussels, next to London, and then finally across the Irish Sea to
Dublin. A great time was had by all.
