Even a lot of people who I know pretty well are surprised to
learn that I can play the piano, because I almost never do it
when anyone is around. (When I say that I can play the piano,
let me add that I play it quite badly... which is probably one of
the reasons that I almost never do it when anyone is around!)
Seriously, one of the many items on my list of things to do in
the future is learn to play some classical stuff on the piano
really well. We shall see. In the meantime, I like sitting down
and playing for a few minutes now and then. This photo was

I was waiting for the rest of the band to assemble.
