| I've written a lot of songs over the years... but "Same Old Ghost" was/is different in many ways. I guess you could say that it wrote itself. For awhile, I wasn't really sure just where it was headed, and it didn't have a title. (I just referred to it as "my long, weird song".) I rarely write long songs, and I almost always know what I'm doing when I sit down to write. "Ghost" is the exception that proves the rule. Steve H. |
